NSF Scholarship Recipient
Paige Drake is currently a senior at DePauw University majoring in Computer Science and Violin Performance. Paige spent the past summer working at Technology Services Group as a developer in Chicago. She partakes in DePauw’s DOS (DePauw Open Source) club as treasurer and is chair of Women in Computing in the DePauw Student Congress. In 2013, Paige presented on the topic of the fusion of music and computer science at Indiana Women in CS conference. She has also interned at Plow Digital where she developed game programming experience. In 2012, Paige taught programming and game development to kids at iD Tech Camps at Purdue University. Paige is currently working on an application for music theory development. For fun, Paige enjoys golfing and playing her electric violin and upright bass.

I hope one day to be like Carol Shaw and pave the way for other women in computer science.”
