Julian works with a variety of technology and HR leaders, diversity & inclusion professionals, nonprofits, academics and senior executives focused on inclusion guidance modules and organizational transformation in the areas of diversity, inclusion and talent management. She has an understanding of workplace culture and change and has facilitated learning and development opportunities focusing on change management, diversity and inclusion strategies, best practices and related topics. She has also presented and moderated a variety of panels, recently moderating SXSW2016 Interactive panel: “Lessons from Top Companies for Women Technologists.”
With a background in program management, community outreach, partnership development, program design, research, volunteer engagement and event planning, Julian has over a decade of progressive experience in working with and building diverse teams, qualitative and quantitative analysis, relationship and program management. Prior to joining ABI, Julian was the former Program Director of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)’s Institute Community and Equity Office (ICEO) and program lead for seven-signature diversity STEM K-12 programs in MIT’s Office of Engineering Outreach Programs (OEOP) serving 400+ middle and high school students from underrepresented groups and underserved communities in Boston/Cambridge and nationally.
