Earlier this year, the Anita Borg Institute’s President and CEO Telle Whitney spoke at Collision’s Startup University event. Telle emphasized the importance of creating diverse and inclusive workplaces, and shared advice on how tech startup companies could achieve this. “If you want to attract a diverse workforce,” she said, “you need to make sure that part of your job is to go where the women are.”
One way the Anita Borg Institute helps companies reach out to women is through our Resume Database. We offer women the opportunity to submit their resumes and gain an inside track to the best tech organizations. Sponsors of the Grace Hopper Celebration (GHC) will review these resumes for interviews, internships, and meetings.
