GHC/1 is a one-day, locally organized conference modeled after ABI’s international Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing (GHC). This immersive event brings women technologists at all levels together, along with industry leading companies, to build relationships, learn and advance their careers.

Please join us for a day of learning and networking, focused on advancing a gender diverse technology workforce in New York. You will have the opportunity to participate in sessions on technology, career development and a career fair, and explore ways to attract top technology talent to your companies.

Come hear keynote speaker, Deborah Estrin, Professor of Computer Science at Cornell Tech speak about innovation in New York City. Hear from a panel of women in technical roles in industries ranging from technology companies to banking to media about technology innovation in the Big Apple from the perspective of women technologists.  By hearing from women in technical industries, attendees will gain more insight regarding the recent technology trends in the city, what it takes to be a successful woman in tech, as well as tips and stories from women who have had a range of different experiences.  Network during lunch and at the closing reception with fellow New York technology leaders and members of ABI.New York and attend the Career Fair.
