WOMEN OF VISION AWARDS 2007

Don ‘t miss the Anita Borg Institute’s Women of Vision Awards gala on May 3, 2007 at the Fairmont hotel in San Jose, where three recipients will be honored.

Wov2007 Women of Vision Announced

Innovation will be awarded to Deborah Estrin who is a Professor of Computer Science at UCLA, holds the Jon Postel Chair in Computer Networks, and is Founding Director of the NSF-funded Center for Embedded Networked Sensing (CENS).

Social Impact Award will be awarded to Leah H. Jamieson who co-founded the Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS) program at Purdue University, an engineering design program that operates in a service-learning context.

Leadership will be awarded to Duy-Loan T. Le who was the first women and first Asian-American to become TI Senior Fellow and a beacon of inspiration to everyone who hears her story.

Keynote Speaker: Esther Dyson– Authority on emerging digital technology & named by Fortune magazine as one of the most powerful women in American business.

Master of Ceremonies: Sydnie Kohara– KPIX, CBS channel 5 Eyewitness News, Early Edition.
