We have assembled a panel of remarkable women from industry and the academy. This event is for you - to participate in the discussion, add your perspective, meet like-minded technical women, and expand your network. We look forward to seeing you there!
The event will focus on how the science and technology workplace has changed over the last 30 years. What was it like to be a woman in science and technology in the 1970s and 1980s? How did the social attitudes of the day create challenges? Who were the pioneers who brought about change? How can we learn from them?
We will talk about the challenges faced by women in science and technology today. What lessons can we take away from past successes? Women have fundamentally redefined their role in science and technology over the last few decades. If we have once successfully overturned accepted views about women and science, how can we do it again?
