In Remembrance of Denice D. Denton
It is with great sadness we announce the loss of Dr. Denice Dee Denton. Denice was a powerful voice for women and technology and a vibrant part of the Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology. “Denise was a friend, a leader, and a beacon for whom I had the deepest respect and admiration. The loss of her contributions will be felt throughout the Anita Borg Institute community for years to come,” said Telle Whitney, President and CEO of the Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology. “Denice’s gift was to both bring diverse communities together in conversation, and then mobilize these communities to create action and systemic change. Her vision, actions and words positively impacted the lives of hundreds of people, especially young women. We will all miss her. “
