News Fifth Annual Girl Summit: Volunteers Needed!

Want to join 1500 girls and women as they gain the inspiration, skills, and resources it takes to change the world? Each year, the national organization Girls for a Change hosts the Girl Summit—the most powerful and respected social-change conference of its kind. The Girl Summit is only made possible by hundreds of volunteers who donate their time. Volunteer for part of the day or the entire day. Come on your own or with a group of friends or colleagues. Help inspire the next generation of leaders!

Note: Free event-day childcare available. There will be a 1.5-hour evening volunteer training session the week before the Summit. Courtney will contact you with training details a month prior to the event.

There will be more than 40 empowering workshops presented at the Summit. Workshop Tracks include:

  • Get Your Groove On: Creating Change Through Movement and Dance
  • You Go Girl! Taking Action to Change Our Communities
  • Art Into Action: Using Creativity & Art For Social Change
  • Equal People: Exploring Girls’, Women’s, & LGTBQQI Issues & Rights
  • Connecting Cultures: Understanding Race & Culture
