Have you heard? History is being made.
The two biggest technical conferences addressing diversity in the computing field are coming together. The Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing (GHC) and the Richard Tapia Diversity in Computing Conference (Tapia) is co-locating.
Converging on Orlando, Florida the week of October 14, both conferences will highlight the technical work of women and other under-represented groups. The Tapia conference will get things rolling the first half of the week by exploring “Passion in Computing–Diversity in Innovation” and GHC will close out the week by “Inventing the Future”. The two conferences will both be held at the Disney Hilton and will be bridged together by an event on Wednesday that involves participants from both conferences.
ABI invites everyone - women, men, people of all ethnicities and cultures - to attend both conferences to share knowledge and celebrate diversity.
If money is an issue, have no worries, a limited number of scholarships are available for both conferences and bridge day. Also, if you register for one conference you’ll have an opportunity to register for the other conference at a discounted rate.
