News Anita Borg Institute partners on GreatNonprofits Women’s Empowerment Campaign 2010

GreatNonprofits and GuideStar have launched the Women’s Empowerment Campaign 2010 in partnership with the Anita Borg Institute, Dress for Success, Kiva, MADRE, Wider Opportunities for Women, Women’s Media Center, Women News Network, and Women’s Philanthropy–Women’s Issues. The campaign’s goal is to identify top-rated nonprofits focusing on women’s issues. Your participation in this campaign during May 2010 helps identify the nonprofits that are making a difference for women.

Benefits:

  • Recognition: Every organization that gathers 10 or more positive reviews during the month of May will make the GreatNonprofits Top-Rated Women’s Empowerment Nonprofits List.
  • Community Engagement: Great opportunity for nonprofits and their community members to interact and engage directly.
  • First-person stories: Clients volunteers, donors and others share with the public, in their own words, how this nonprofit serves its community. Nonprofits can use this resource of powerful and authentic stories to engage donors and volunteers.

You are invited to post reviews of the Anita Borg Institute and other nonprofits that empower women on the GreatNonprofits website.
