Executive Program Priorities and Structure:
NHLI’s Executive Program provides four one-week leadership development training sessions which span nine months in four cities. NHLI’s program is highly quality, innovative and substantive, and seeks to recruit participants who are diverse, talented and accomplished. The intensive learning experience provides training in public policy, leadership, strategic management, team building and race, class and gender issues. The program emphasizes a holistic approach to leadership. The dynamic curriculum allows participants to put their talents into action through emphasis on personal strengths and management of personal challenges.
NHLI’s training program has an impact on the public and private spheres of national life. Many of its 500 graduates have gone on to become elected officials, senior manager, entrepreneurs and decision makers. Alumnae become part of a national network of Latina entrepreneurs and decision makers. Alumnae become part of a national network of Latina leaders and are viewed as agents of change in a global transformation.

Week 2: Leadership for the 21st Century: Effective Change Through Public Policy and Management, JFK School of Government Executive Program, Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts (April)
Week 3: Leadership Development Program: Center for Creative Leadership Institute (CCL); North Carolina, California, Colorado, (March-August)
Week 4: Impacting Decision makers, Political Advocacy and Government Relations; Washington, DC (September)
