How do I join?

Go here to add the ABI LinkedIn for Good badge to your profile. If you do not already have a profile on LinkedIn you will be prompted to create one.

I joined the group, but I don’t see the badge on my profile. Why?

LinkedIn gives the user control over how badges display on their profile. You can make your badge visible by logging into LinkedIn.

• Under the ‘Home’ tab, on the lower right-hand region of the page, you will see the ABI badge.
• Click ’settings’.
• For the question “Would you like to display the Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology logo on your profile to non-Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology members?” select ‘Yes’.
• Click the ‘Save Changes’ button.

Your badge should now be visible.

How do I find other members of the group?

Log into LinkedIn and search “Anita Borg Institute”. All group members will be displayed. You may browse their profiles.

How do I contact other members of the group?

Use LinkedIn’s InMail system to introduce yourself directly.
