Executive Vice President and Group Executive Enterprise Solutions and Technology Group, CA Technologies
As executive vice president and group executive, Enterprise Solutions and Technology Group at CA Technologies, Peter Griffiths is responsible for managing a broad portfolio of products and solutions for enterprise and growth markets. He oversees a world-class global community that combines research, development, product management and solutions engineering to drive company leadership in Security, Enterprise Management and IT Management-as-a-Service.
Peter draws on his more than 20 years experience in the software industry to lead three units that focus on growth, competitive leadership and success across the Growth Market Solutions, Enterprise Management and Security customer segments. He also oversees the Office of the Chief Technology Officer, Solutions Engineering Services, Customer and Industry Solutions, and the CA Technologies Innovation Center.
Together with the Mainframe and Customer Success Group, Peter ensures a steady stream of innovative products and solutions delivered on an integrated technology platform that meet the needs of customers. He is also a member of the company’s Executive Management Team.
Before joining CA Technologies, Peter was vice president of Worldwide Research and Development Business, Analytics and Applications for IBM. Prior to that, he served on the executive team at Cognos, Inc., a global leader of business intelligence and performance management software, where he held a number of senior roles, including senior vice president, Products; vice president, Research and Development; and vice president, Decision Platform.
Peter joined Cognos in 1998 upon its acquisition of Relational Matters PLC, a data analytics company, where was CEO. He has also held positions at KPMG IT and various organizations in the financial services industry.
Peter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Brighton University in England.
