Who am I?

I have a wide range of interests and passions that keep life interesting. I am passionate about promoting education for women and teaching women to use networking as a way to progress in their careers. Before moving to California, I worked with organizations such as the AAUW and WIWC (Women in Wireless Communications) to promote education and networking for women. Here in California I have been president of my local alumnae association and have enjoyed planning and attending events doing everything from high tea in San Francisco to boating the Elkhorn Slough. I enjoy being an auctioneer and have organized and bid-called auctions to raise money for charities such as Save Tahoe Blue and the Michael Landon Children’s Cancer Fund, and yes I am a fast talker when I need to be. I am also an avid mystery reader, knitter, card maker and movie fanatic.
